Nannini Renato Machinery designs and manufactures semi-automatic lines for filling cartridges with high viscosity products such as grease, glues, stucco/putty, silicone and other sealants.

A semi-automatic cartridge filling and packaging line is typically composed of:
1. EXTRUDER/PRESS
Hydraulic extruder/press model “PF200”, for commercial 200 l drums/barrels (both smooth or ribbed), equipped with reinforcement bands for the drum, in order to avoid its deformation during the operating cycle.
Machine available in pneumatic-hydraulic or electro-hydraulic version.
2. VOLUMETRIC DOSING UNIT
Volumetric and totally pneumatic dosing unit, model “DOS”, for the vertical filling of the cartridge from the bottom upwards, provided with:
- continuous volumetric adjustment with range depending on the volume of the cartridge;
- automatic cartridge filling cycle;
- guided system for the cartridge descent during filling, to help the operator to avoid any possible error and prevent the formation of air bubbles during filling.
3. AUTOMATIC CAPPING MACHINE
Fully automatic machine, model “TAPP”, with plungers holding hopper on the ground, automatic plungers loader, automatic vibrator and orientation device, automatic insertion of the plunger in the cartridge with a presser specifically designed to allow the deformation of the plunger facilitating the evacuation of the air.

4. CARTRIDGE ROLLING MACHINE
Cartridges rolling machine model “GR” o “GRI” to roll the cartridge during the ink-jet marking of the batch number and/or expiration date.
5. SEMI-AUTOMATIC PACKING MACHINE
Semi-automatic multi-size packing machine for cartons from 12 up to 30 cartridges.
