PLC Filling Machine for Multi-Format Jars/Cans/Tins
Linear with “U shape” / boomerang – Mod. LUDOS
Filling machine run by a single operator, feeding the empties (jars/cans/tins) and collecting the filled ones, both at the same side of the machine.
Fully automatic cans/jars/tins multi-format filling machine, with “U-shape” design (boomerang) for filling viscous products such as fillers, glues, mastics, pastes, lubricating greases, hard creams, dental pastes, etc.
To allow the operator to feed the empties (cans/jars/tins) and to collect the filled ones, both operations at the same side of the machine.
- Compact and streamlined machine, easily movable on its wheels, with strong welded and painted frame.
- Belt conveyor for the empty cans/jars/tins feeding to the dosing station.
- Return track for cans with workstations and advancement of the can by means of a “walking beam conveyor”, with step length adjustable via touch screen display to adapt to the diameters of each jar/can/tin so that they are always centred under each workstation.
- Possibility of interfacing with a separate dosing unit not on board of the machine, or machine equipped with its own dosing unit with customized volume, also available for abrasive products.
- Weighing station easily accessible by the operator to remove any overweight can (or settable to avoid lidding of the out of weight cans).
- Automatic lidding device with suction cup separator, with vertical lids storage for the stack of lids (for pile-up lids only), adjustable according to the various lids sizes and provided with fast centring.
- Lid press station for automatic can closing.
- Collecting of the filled and closed cans/jars/tins on a closable shelf or, on request, on a roller conveyor or on a collecting rotating table.
- Electrical cabinet on board machine.
- Siemens® PLC with touch screen display and control panel on a pivotable arm.
- On request, Asem® 7” touch screen display, for easy connection with the corporate network,
with remote control and downloading of the production statistics on a pen drive, or SD card, or remote PC. - Expected production speed with 1Liter cans: about 15 jars/cans/tins per minute.
- Possibility to install an ink-jet printer to print each can with lot number and/or shelf life, etc.
- Safety protections with grid for the best ventilation.
- Dimensions: about 240 x 120 x h 220 cm.
