Drum filling machine with double filling unit.
For filling in commercial 200 liter drums (or containers of different capacity) high-viscosity materials such as silicone, acrylic, polyurethane, etc.
The filling machine mod. RF200D fills volumetrically at level 200 liter commercial drums (on request, also containers of different capacity) with high/very high-viscosity products avoiding trapping air bubbles in the product during filling.
The machine prevents the formation of air bubbles because it fills the drum from the bottom, going progressively upwards while filling the container.
The product comes out under the pressing disc leveling off under the pressure of the same, which also helps to expel any air bubbles already present in the product.
The machine stops automatically closing the product cut-off ball valve when the desired drum filling level is reached. The level can be adjusted at will.
On request, it is possible can have a filling kit also for 20-25 liter pails/buckets.
This model is characterized by being provided with a double filling unit, to be able to start filling the second drum when the first drum is full.
- Strong welded frame, to be bolted to the floor, with two columns, each one provided with its own independent unit for filling each drum.
- Two head support carts and filling pipe, with vertical sliding on linear bearings.
- Drum centering device under the filling disk.
- Standard 3″ DN80 product passage hose, fixed to the ball valve with quick couplings for quick disassembly and cleaning.
- Standard 3″ DN80 ball valve (not always necessary with products with a higher viscosity) fixed with quick couplings between the product pipe and the filling disk, with pneumatic actuator for the opening controlled manually from the control panel and for automatically closing when the drum is totally filled.
- Filling disc with rounded edges to avoid damaging the possible nylon or aluminum bag inside the drum.
- On request, microperforated filling disk for the air suction system in order to keep in place a plastic sheet to be put on the product at the end of filling.
- Two vertical pneumatic cylinders for the handling on linear bearings of the carts with the filling heads, fitted with a safety valve to prevent its unintended descent.
- The pressure of the filling unit on product is adjustable, in order to work with different viscosity products.
- It is possible to set an aiding upward back pressure of the filling unit, so as to adjust the weight on the product according to its viscosity, preventing it from going over the filling disk.
- If connected to one of our presses/extruders, it’s integrated our communication system that starts and stops the press when the drum is empty or full.
- Control panel for starting-stopping opening-closing the ball valve and for setting the pressure of the filling unit on the product.
- On request, load cell scale to display the weight of the container.
- On request, standard 3″ DN80 hose fitted with quick couplings for the connection of the machine to the press feeding the product.
